Adam Lamping

Before becoming self-employed, I gained experience building websites and web applications for clients ranging from SMEs to the NHS and multi-national corporations. I continue to provide consultancy for my former employer at Paradisii Software Solutions.

My background is in software development, primarily for the web, and more specifically, using Microsoft technologies such as ASP.NET and MS SQL Server, as well as many of the traditional web disciplines including HTML, CSS, DHTML, Javascript, XML and AJAX. My experience extends to include some desktop application development, and also to using Flash and Photoshop to a basic level.

I began my career in IT working for American Express' Technologies Division for nearly 8 years, before joining a software house where I was the sole developer for more than 3 years. During that time I was responsible for developing web applications for the likes of American Express and Great Ormond Street Hospital as well as websites for a number of other organisations.

In 2003, I became a Microsoft Certified Software Developer and in 2006 I completed my Masters in Internet Systems Development.
