Hothouse Ventures looking for Sussex web businesses to invest in

New business ‘incubator’, Hothouse Ventures Ltd, is now on the look out for budding web entrepreneurs and start-up online businesses to invest time, resources and capital in.

Hothouse Ventures is part of Friday Holdings Limited, a long established and successful privately owned Sussex-based publishing company.

Marc Lyne, from Hothouse Ventures, said: “Our mission is to attract Sussex businesses and entrepreneurs with high values, determination and talent, and to help them realize their full potential.

“We invest capital, facilities and other resources in return for equity and active involvement in those businesses.

Hothouse Ventures are looking for Sussex businesses in the ‘ideas’ or ‘early’ stages. They will also on occasion consider established businesses where the performance of the business is impressive or the entrepreneur behind it shows exceptional skills and passion.

Marc continues: “We are prepared to offer businesses a first round investment of between £10,000 and £500,000, so for many this will be the head start they need.

“And equally important will be the knowledge, experience and skills that our people will use to help the chosen businesses realise their full potential.”
